The Carter G. Woodson School Board of Directors is a voluntary, priority-driven working board that is committed to honoring our history, mission and philosophy to provide every student, without exception, the vehicle and the opportunity to achieve success through academic advancement.
Board meetings are held the second Monday of each month. No meetings are held during the months of August and December.
Notices of meetings are available in English and Spanish in the front lobby of the main school building and also on the door of the Elementary Building.
Board meetings are open to the public, unless a closed session is needed to protect someone’s right to privacy and confidentiality.
