CGWS Partners

Like all public charter schools, the Carter G. Woodson School receives public funding based on a per-pupil allocation. To build and sustain high-quality programming for our students, CGWS actively seeks grants and donations to cover major expenditures, such as building and transportation costs, instructional supplies, school uniforms, technology enhancements, and exceptional student learning opportunities, such as our high school study abroad program, field trips, Career Day and college tours.
