Graduation
Attention Seniors Class of 2021
Graduation will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, at 10:00 am at Carter G. Woodson School. Graduation attire students must wear formal attire for graduation, no tennis shoes or sneakers.
Graduates must arrive one hour prior to graduation (9:00 am) Parents can arrive on graduation day 45 minutes prior to the graduation ceremony
Graduation practice will be Thursday, June 3, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Carter G. Woodson School. Graduation practice is mandatory for all graduates and no parents/guests can attend graduation practice.
Graduates will be given 5 tickets at graduation practice for family/guests. CGW will provide each graduate a mask that is required to be worn at the graduation ceremony. No other masks will be allowed to be worn during the ceremony.
Graduates are NOT allowed to decorate the cap for graduation. If you have not ordered your cap and gown, please order now. Contact Ms. Russell at 336- 723-6838. The current cost is $50.00.
End-of-the-year Kindergarten
Monday, June 7, 2021 at 10:00 am we will be acknowledging the Kindergarten class at 10:00 am at Carter G. Woodson School. Each child can bring three adults. CGW will follow all CDC health protocols. Contact the school if you have any questions.
