Event Description

On Friday, October 26, 2018, Carter G. Woodson held its annual Book-O-Ween. Book-O-Ween is our celebration of the importance literature. High School students and teachers decorate their doors and welcome grades Kindergarten through sixth to explore the fantastical world of literature. Students play literacy games. They are given sweets; it’s an entire school project. High school students dress in full costume of certain characters in the book. Carter G. Woodson we try to incorporate the importance of literature.
