Woodsons Community Farm

Carter G. Woodson’s – Woodson’s Community Farm is our innovative hands-on-experience project and curriculum that’s part of our new Agriculture and Food Sciences Pathway to STEAM Program. As the Woodson’s Community Farm grows, students will learn soil conservation, beekeeping, how to raise hens, care for goats and animal husbandry.

We’re taking the lead with our new initiative to move our students and community forward in the science of food. Urban Farming is an excellent opportunity for students, staff, and community to learn and to apply the principles of food science to create a healthy lifestyle.
