Parents the deadline for requesting a new bus stop or for making changes to a current bus stop for the upcoming school year is Friday, July 28, 2023.  If your address has changed, contact Carter G. Woodson School. The first day of school for the 2023-2024 school year is Monday, August 28, 2023. Please remember this deadline is only for new stop requests, or for those wishing to change a current stop.  If there is no change needed, parents do not need to make another request. After the July 28, 2023 deadline, all bus stop requests will take 48 hours to complete. Families must complete the bus stop request form. 

At CGW, all students must follow CGW’s student handbook. Students can be written up and lose bus riding privileges. For serious school bus violations, students can be permanently expelled from the bus.
